Great, that you've known that site. big_smile

I was testing knowledge to see how many painting software that Linux users know.
I've been /facepalm for some users that doesn't know about Krita existence on Linux or Windows.
Krita is the Ultimate Painting software than GIMP strong enough to par Photoshop & Paint Tool Sai.
Many windows refugee always ignore GIMP on purpose to wine Photoshop & failed & back to Windows.
I'm sick of that loop & I want Linux users start to recommend Krita to Windows users
Not just GIMP, Pinta, Inkscape. We have Krita & ultimate KDE painting tool on our side.

Krita was also 1 of the reasons why I'm running Linux. From 2013 my discover Krita first time
cause me to drop Photoshop & Paint Tool Sai permanently.
While GIMP, Pinta, Inkscape. never success convince me.

I'll rooting for your success with krita. Crosscourt  wink

I've planning to reduce "Paint Tool Sai" popularity that brainwashed all over Devianart anime artists to pay attention to another free anime paint softwares. 5 years till now their influence cause youtube filled with only Sai Speed Paint which is annoying. I can't find other Paint software tutorials that many because of their flooding with Paint tool Sai speed Paint videos.

I'll use Krita, OpenCanvas as Photoshop replacement.
You know what? "OpenCanvas" can wine on Linux so easily but Photoshop & Sai users doesn't know.
They always wine PS & Sai & failed countless time.

While for "Paint Tool Sai" & "Manga Studio" replacement I'll use these:
http://firealpaca.com/en
http://medibangpaint.com/en/
http://www.queekypaint.com/
All of them wine passed successfully I'll use this to convince anime artist to Linux with these.

Right now I'm the only manga artist dwelling on Linux without using Photoshop & Paint Tool Sai.
Thanks to SumoPaint, Krita, Firealpaca, Medibang Paint, OpenCanvas, Queeky
I able made this far able to draw anime on Linux they're easy to use than GIMP.
I've able to skilled more on GIMP because of these softwares influence as well.

I use Gimp and Krita, but "very simple" are not two words I would use to describe them. If you are looking for something a little more basic I suggest MyPaint. It is a basic paint program with some advanced features. It has a nice assortment of tools and a large collection of brushes.

fully digitizer support, I use Krita a lot with my xp-pen star G640 Drawing Tablet now after trying the demo out .
