Just installed 2.0.2 on laptop (dell inspiron 1545) and pulse audio is using all my cpu, well in top it is a couple of processes but pulseaudio is the main culprit. The only way I could stop it was to use
pactl exit
Any suggestions

We have noticed this Q4OS-2.0.2 issue on some systems, you could try to stop artsd server only:
$ artsshell terminate

@q4osteam
That didn't do anything, the command didn't complete (probably due to no cpu width available). I will try and reinstall and see what that does.
@crosscourt
I wouldn't have expected you to have issues with the stable version.

My stable install is fine so I would guess it's not a hardware issue, but that can't be ruled out as using a different kernel may have changed hardware compatibilities.

EDIT
And I solved the problem by removing pulseaudio from the system, after killing the processes and rebooting sound works fine, so I guess pulseaudio isn't really needed (for me at least).
