?????????? How Do They Do That ???????????

P.C. = 32 bit Atom processor with 2 G ram.
From a live  32 bit  USB I have installed Q4OS
onto a 16 G USB as if it were a H.D.
It works way better than any other x86 distro
I have tried. WAY 'snappier' (for lack of a better term)
How does it work so well?
Does everything go to RAM @ boot ?
