At this time I cannot access my encrypted hard drive (encrypted in Ubuntu). Q4OS sees the partitions, but when attempting to decrypt them I get the message that the feature is only available with HAL. HAL doesn't appear in the repositories and it's my understanding that is on the way out.
How can I decrypt my partitions that were originally encrypted using Ubuntu, or can I not do that in Q4OS?

HAL is a depreciated technology and cannot be easily installed. Unfortunately, Trinity has no GUI tool to decrypt such a partition. You can do it using command-line tools or within the Plasma desktop session. As far as we know, Trinity devs are working on a GUI tool that will be able to easily mount crypted partitions.

Thanks. I'll try the Plasma desktop.
