Nodejs broken packages

Me again,

have quite a few bugs to report, and am assuming it is proper form to post them separately as new topics.

Was trying to install OnlyOffice and the icon appears in the start menu, and even pops up the floating icon indicating that it is loading, but nothing else happens.

Tried to install / reinstall from Package manager and OnlyOffice listed as "Broken" got an alert regarding NodeJS that "Could not apply changes! Fix Broken Packages first"

So I tried looking up NodeJS and got the same error message.

Same deal for reinstallation, removal or complete removal.

Thanks in advance for any advice,

UAN

Re: Nodejs broken packages

Yes - you are correct - different topic for each issue - thank you.

Synaptic does not list OnlyOffice in the repositories.

It would therefore be helpful if you could please explain in detail the steps you took to install the application.

I have seen some instructions relating to Ubuntu and Debian, but there are too many variable to try to second guess.

I think what bin meant was from what source, could you post the output of this command

$ apt policy | grep -v -i debian | grep -v -i q4os
