I am literally laughing out loud because, although I haven't heard it in many years, I know the exact song.
The theme to "The Partridge Family".
...oooh...I just realized how old I am...
(Even the "oooh" makes me think of Lurch. )

Glad I could make you laugh, MC!
Good for you! Yes that was the "Partridge Family" theme song. Used to watch that show all the time. I loved the paint job on the bus. And yes, I liked Lurch, too. But Gomez was a favorite.
But, that doesn't mean we're old... just "experienced". Ha! Ha!

Something for my EeePC and Aspire One...
The menu on the right hand side is a hidden menu that appears when the mouse pointer touches the top-right corner of the screen. The menu contains some favorite apps. I find that this method makes the apps handy, yet keeps my toolbars and desktop from getting cluttered with a bunch of icons.

Nice one! I like that wallpaper.
I've got a couple of EeePCs myself. A 1005HA and a 1215N, both running Crunchbang, and a dual-boot on the 1005 with Handy Linux.
I use hidden panels as well...it keeps the desktop a lot cleaner.

OK DavidB, see what you started?
I couldn't help it. I saw this wallpaper and instantly thought of the bus. I even found a "Partridge Family" font. (And, the tails are going the right direction. )
(This was just for fun. )

Wallpaper base is from ReactOS which is a Windows Clone Project. They have a long way to go but, I liked the wallpaper.
I call it "LinPin & Q4 Discussing Window's Demise"

I'm probably going to get a lot of hate for this, but Q4OS running Debian made to look like Win XP
