Changing default shell

I was going to try and change the default shell for Q4OS 3.6 to fish using the:

chsh -s /usr/bin/fish username

command.

For some reason, the shell wont change on TDE except for the superuser shell. When I change to plasma desktop it appears to be working fine, just not in TDE. Has anyone else had any success doing this?
