Hello, I recently installed the q4os installer for windows to see if was good enough to change to from windows 7.
However, I had a lot of difficulty when it come to installing application, specifically steam, I tried finding it from the package from software centre to synaptic package manager but there nothing related to steam. I even tried searching on the internet to find how to install steam but with no such luck.
If someone can help me with this, I would be really grateful.
Thxs .

You only need to follow Steam on Debian guides, as Q4OS is Debian actually. You could start here https://wiki.debian.org/Steam

I'm not sure if you're still searching, but I've found that Flatpaks have been working well for me on Q4OS 3.6 . I havent tried with 2.7, though.
sudo apt install flatpak
flatpak remote-add --if-not-exists flathub https://flathub.org/repo/flathub.flatpakrepo
flatpak install flathub com.valvesoftware.Steam
I believe you do have to restart your computer for the application to show up in your start menu, but it has worked well for me so far.
I hope this helps out
