Has there been a recent update to Firefox? Suddenly none of my add-ons will work with Firefox. I use duckduckgo for my search engine and when I go to their page it has an "add duckduckgo to Firefox" box. When I click to add it I get the message that the file is corrupt. This is the same message I get for all the add-ons when I try to install them.
So, either Firefox made some update or I got one of rare Linux malwares!

This is a Mozilla f'up. They have messed up a security certificate and so this is the result.
The reported fix to go to about:config and set xpinstall.signatures.required to false doesn't work for me.
https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05 … n-firefox/ contains an update advising users to enable Studies in settings and then just wait till it is fixed by Mozilla via that tool.
Or Install a different browser such as Slimjet, etc.

Firefox disables all add-ons, as described by bin above. Please read https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/fir … d-bug.html for an explanation and a possible fixes.

Thanks Bin and Q4OSteam! I did go to the Firefox home page and didn't find anything about the issue.
After reading the link I think I'll give them a few days to fix it.

I'm not sure if it will help but I just read this post in the debian user forum which might be of use to you.

I went ahead and took the chance. I made the manual modification and it seems to have worked. Thanks to all that gave tips.

Mozilla have updated their info about the fix for this issue - it looks like a new release is coming down the pipes.

Fixed ESR version (60.6.2) is already in the repositories, but what about fixed Ubuntu version (66.0.4)? The Q4OS repositories still offer only the 66.0.1...

Firefox 66.0.5 is already in Q4OS Centaurus repositories, release for Scorpion is underway.
