Default Browser

Hi,

I am mainly a Firefox user and have set Firefox as default within the TDE configuration and updated the x-www-browser alternative. Still some applications prefer chrome when I click on a Linux e.g. qpdfview.

How can I make sure that qpdfview e.g. also opens links with Firefox?

Dear JimW,

thanks for the hint.

It seems that qpdfview still makes use of the old and deprecated .local/share/applications/mimeapps.list

After adding:

x-scheme-handler/http=firefox.desktop
x-scheme-handler/https=firefox.desktop

It works fine.
