Kernel 4.10 - to support Ryzen Chips

After installing to new hardware I was surprised that the kernel was still 4.9.  AMD Ryzen chips have been out for a number of years now and was hoping that Q4OS would at least have 4.10  as the base.  Kernel 4.10 gives us access to more threads on the processor something most applications can take advantage of. Any idea when this will happen?

You could install the 4.19 kernel from backports, please see Q4OS documentation https://www.q4os.org/dqa011.html#system.6 . There will be new Q4OS 3 Centaurus version available in a few weeks, it's testing at the moment, see https://www.q4os.org/downloads2.html
