Hello,i need help please.
Q4OS 2.5 has been running excellent for ever.
I tried to install OSM maptile server.
It has created a user OSM along side my original user of ADMIN.
Now that has messed things up, i wish to delete user OSM so i can get back my original setup user ADMIN that i cannot use because of OSM.
Short of re-installing Q4OS ,is there a way round this ?
Thank you for any help on this

We would rather recommend Q4OS re-installation, as we don't know, what the "OSM server" has modified inside the system. If you want only to remove a user and his group, you need to run in terminal:
$ sudo userdel <username>
$ sudo groupdel <username>

Thank you for the reply.
I want to get the data/files and the notes off the screen, off the user admin i created when i first installed,thus this need to delete user.
I did think about re-stallation but with the new 2.7.
i tried your suggestion but this is the error i get.
$ sudo userdel osm
sudo: /user/bin/sudo must be owned by uid 0 and have the setuid bit set
What does this mean ?
thankyou

Well I had to bite the bullet and install the new Q4OS 2.7
The installation went very well with no problems .
I would like to say Thank you very much for help in trying to resolve the problem.
I could have sworn i had kept a backup of the files and folders,but lesson learned.
Thank you once again
Kind Regards
