When I run altdeski, it says:
"This utility is obsolete. Please use Desktop profiler tool from Software centre to install additional desktop".
So, where can I find this "Desktop profiler tool"?
I did look in the "Discover - Software centre" without success.

You can run Desktop profiler from terminal:
$ swprofiler.exu
In the Trinity session it's available from the Start menu > System > Install applications > click 'Desktop profiler' button

Thanks for the quick reply.
But what do you mean, "In the Trinity session"? Is that another type of Desktop Environment?

Yes, Trinity is a desktop environment, the default one for Q4OS. If you have installed Q4OS system from KDE Plasma live media, you can choose to login either into the KDE or Trinity desktop from the login screen.

Q4OS Team: I installed Q4OS from the Windows installer, and I never see a login screen.
Is there any other way to select between KDE and Trinity environments?

... I never see a login screen.
If you don't see the login screen, you had to select the auto-login feature upon installation.

Since you have installed using the Windows installer, the only Trinity desktop has been installed by default. So, if you want to use KDE Plasma, you need to install it additionally. Now the Desktop profiler comes in. Go to Start menu > Programs > Accessories > System > Install applications, Q4OS Software centre > click the 'Desktop profiler' button, Desktop profiler will be launched . Click to the right arrow symbol on the right top, select KDE Plasma desktop to be installed and click 'Install' button. Reboot, you should see the login screen. If something will go doubtfully, post a description here, we will try to provide a direction.

Did that.
I selected to install KDE Plasma, and told it to reboot. There was no login screen, and my desktop has not changed.
I will try to attach the output of inxi F here:

Please try to run in terminal:
$ sudo ctrl-autologin --disable
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure sddm
select 'sddm' as the default display manager
$ sudo kwriteconfig --file "/etc/sddm.conf" --group "Autologin" --key "User" ""
Reboot and report back.

Did that.
Now I have to login.
And there is a session selector in the bottom left of the login screen!
Thank you, Q4OS Team, for the timely help.
