Q4os Boot Up Process Fails

I have Q4OS installed on a Windows 10 PC and used the Windows installer to install it. I've been impressed with it and all was going fine until I tried to start Q4OS yesterday. The boot up process starts but just after the Ramdisc initialisation the process comes to a halt with these lines:-

Mount: mounting /dev/loop0 on/root failed: Invalid argument
Mount: Mounting/hoston/root/mnt/host failed: No such file or directory - this line is repeated four times
run-init: current directory on the same filesystem as the root: error 0
Target filesystem doesn't have request /sbin/init.

I've been using Q4OS to run Kodi which has been very stable and has worked perfectly unlike the Windows version. I may have corrupted the Q4OS installation as I inadvertently used the shutdown option in the Kodi 'Quit' menu which shuts down the PC very quickly instead of shutting down via the Q4OS shutdown process. This has also coincided with some big updates to Windows 10 but I suspect the former as the cause.

I have tried replacing all the files in the Debian directory from my last Windows system image back-up but the problem still persists even with restored files from a back-up. Are there files elsewhere that I'm not aware of that need restoring?

If all else fails I could re-install Q4OS. If I did that would I be able to use my existing root.disk file or the one from my last back-up to avoid having to set everything again?

We would recommend you to do the following:
- Backup the "root.disk" file.
- Uninstall Q4OS. Just launch the "q4os-winsetup.exe" installer and the Q4OS uninstall wizard starts.
- Perform new Q4OS installation, run "q4os-winsetup.exe" again and follow this guide https://www.q4os.org/dqa014.html.
- Replace the "root.disk" file with the backed up one.
- Q4OS should boot now, if the system structure within the "root.disk" file is not corrupted.

I've tried out what you have recommended but the installation still refuses to run giving the same error messages as in my original post. I get the dual boot screen but Q4OS doesn't get any further than the error messages. It's not my root.disk file that's causing the problem as the one that is installed by Q4OS does not work either. I'll stick to using Q4OS on my old Toshiba laptop PC for the moment which works well running from a Compact Flash card in the PCMIA socket. Below is the wubi-2.4-rev325.log. Does it give any clues as to what the problem is?
