Any chance simplescreenrecorder installer coming soon ?
I was able to install GIMP via the Synaptic Package Manager.
I only need simplescreenrecorder and I can dump Windows from all of my computers.
Is this possible or should I take the leap to start compiling & building installer for Q4OS (Which might take me a long time

Hi Bobby, we have quickly made SSR installer, attached, simply doubleclick it from filemanager.

Works good for me. Please add SSR installer here, so users do not need to search in forum.
Simplescreenrecorder is the best screen capture program for me!

Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502 If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.

There is also a Q4OS sourceforge.net page that has some more Q4OS Installers but, the recently created SSR has not been added to this page as of yet.

We don't want to include it as official application, as there is no QA now. We can permit anybody to publish it free.

I have created http://4OS.tech - "making 40S Linux the most user friendly" for these reasons:
1. To keep separation from all sites external to Q4OS that will now or in the future provide custom software installers, automation scripts, etc.
2. To act as a repository for unofficial and 3rd party software, scripts, etc.
3. To make available files, docs, tutorials that are specific to add-on software and modified unofficial installs of Q4OS.
4. Q4OS users will be sent to Q4OS for support while being able to get support for custom work by authors.
I am open to additional ideas about this and if any concerns please let me know and I will make changes as requested.
