Hi, and welcome to the forum, could you post the output of
qrepolist
Offline
this is the output of qrepolist
deb http://q4os*org/q4repo q4os-2-0-cn main
deb http://q4os*org/qtderepo stretch main
deb http://ftp*debian*org/debian/ stretch main contrib non-free
deb http://security*debian*org/debian-security/ stretch/updates main contrib non-free

I am guessing that there could be a language problem here (with the computer, not the user ) as the output you have given shows an asterisk (*) where there should be a quote ("). I would try changing all the asterisks to quotes and see if that fixes the problem.

no,.. its a dot ( . ) i cant post link or maybe i can with url tag but im too lazy to make a tag so i change that dot to asterisk

I can post mine without issue here, can you select the text in the terminal and copy it , then in your browser just paste it to make sure we get the correct data.
deb http://q4os.org/q4repo q4os-2-0-cn main
deb http://q4os.org/qtderepo stretch main
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stretch main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/debian-security/ stretch/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stretch-updates main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stretch-backports main contrib non-free
If the problem is because you cannot post links yet you can paste the information into a code box and it will be much clearer to us.
deb http://q4os.org/q4repo q4os-2-0-cn main
deb http://q4os.org/qtderepo stretch main
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stretch main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org/debian-security/ stretch/updates main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stretch-updates main contrib non-free
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ stretch-backports main contrib non-free
But after deciphering your post I can see that is not really the issue here...

This has me baffled as I checked the IP address for the ftp site and your output is showing as correct.
I can see that the error says bad gateway, could this be a dns problem?
I have done 3 installs of Q4OS Scorpion in the last week and have not had any problems installing or updating...
Did you check the md5sum of the image you used before writing it to your installation media?

@24past
We are not able to reproduce this glitch, updates work fine here. We are guessing it's a kind of a local network configuration issue.

@24past - please could you confirm how you installed Scorpion? Have you by any chance just added the Scorpion Repos to Orion?
