Given the age of that hardware (the YOUNGEST is 11 years old), I very seriously doubt it would be worth the time developing it for that antiquated hardware.

Thanks bin,but I know what PowerPC is already, My comment was in surprise that someone would want a PowerPC build Ill try to be more clear.

My background is primarily in hardware not software. Got my start on the Apple II and went from there to the MacOS PowerPCs plus my Windows pcs.

PowerPC was supported up to OS X 10.5 Leopard.

I believe it is possible, Debian does most of the work already. https://www.debian.org/ports/powerpc/
Debian also talks about multi-booting with OS-X https://www.debian.org/releases/jessie/ … 05.html.en

All is needed is the Q4OS Trinity Desktop Environment on top of that and we have an oldworld PowerPC build of a Q4OS distribution.

Ubuntu I like in general, but the Ubuntu Mate not so much, it's Mate I an not liking, but this Q4OS is great. I put Q4OS on my Raspberry Pi 3 and I believe to have a release of Q4OS on an oldworld PowerPC would be great as well.
