Not sure if this would be popular or not, but it's something I've been using recently. It's essentially CPU-Z for linux. VERY nice looking (looks almost exactly like CPU-Z), good for having something to graphically look at your system's information. There are other ways of getting it, but this is a really nice looking one. I use it on all my systems that are running Trinity, since most other gui tools are either outdated or don't work properly (on plasma 5 I just use Kinfocenter since it works just as well and is already built into plasma).

Note: I'm posting this because i think it might be something useful for others, I already install it myself and use it myself, so not truly requesting it for myself.

I use ksensors and hardinfo for most of this info but I like the look of this cpu-z clone.

Yeah, that's it's biggest draw, it just looks so much better than sysinfo, or hardinfo. Not familiar with ksensors.

ksensors is available in Synaptic and gives you sensor readouts for various hardware. Theres also gkrellm which is one of the best hardware monitors Ive ever used. Psensor is another hardware monitor thats easy to use.

I always use conky, I can display pretty much any hardware/software info I need and it is capable of a whole lot more! The only downside (for new/inexperienced users) is it needs a config file and can be a little daunting to get set up, but once you have everything you need it is great!

Cpu-Z type apps have in depth data covering your complete hardware setup and design specs, plus additional settings for various features, along with the gpu. Conky showing all that data on the screen would be a bit voluminous even though it can be done.

Im impressed with i-nex as I love Cpu-Z in Windows

Cpu-G is also similar to i-nex and already commonly used in Ubuntu based distros.

I have to admit it would be a very crowded desktop trying to get all that information in a conky, but I use it mainly to monitor cpu, ram, fans, temps, network traffic, public/private ip addresses and tcp connections as they are the things I want/need to see at all times.
The I-nex image posted looks pretty good and if you need some system information I'm sure it has it all.

Yeah, that's the reason I like it. It's basically identical to CPU-Z, REALLY excellent layout.

I did the Ubuntu 16.04 package on my Gallium Install, but I use the daily build for Ubuntu 17.04 on my Debian & q4os installs.

The 16.04 is always safer. I've had problems in the past (it doesn't actually get build daily anymore) with the daily's breaking xorg (not sure why, when it did I would just resvert to the last one that worked).
