I was able to install Q4OS LiveCD to my hard drive as a LiveCD Image and it boots.
Is it an easy mod to push the whole LiveCD in to memory and run it LIVE in RAM ?
Might need more Memory as I only have 3GB in my fastest computer.
THanks,
Bobby

Yes, you need at least 1GB of RAM, run in terminal:
$ sudo live-toram
Offline
Tried it but, it failed
Duo Core 2.2 Ghz intel / 64bit / 3GB memory
Q4OS v 1.4.5 x64
Results:
adminq@debian:~$ sudo live-toram
P: Copying filesystems to memory.
I: This may take a while...
‘/lib/live/mount/medium/live/filesystem.squashfs’ -> ‘/tmp/live’

Oh, I won't be able to sleep until I can experience LIVE RAM
Should I try sudo live-toram on my 32 bit intel computer with 1.5GB memory ?
Thanks,
Bobby

It probably already resides in ram, done automatically on boot. Try to unmount live cd, eject it and ride the system.

Q4OS Team,
Okay. Now going to seek out RAM Riding

WOW ! Maybe its just me but, its seems to be faster with the both my hard drive removed and LiveCD removed from the CD-ROM Drive.
Q4OS Team, you were correct, filesystem loads to RAM DRIVE automatically; all 1.6GB
Odd thing though:
If I leave the LiveCD in the drive I can run sudo live-toram ----- And will start to copy to ram.
Could a flag be set where sudo live-toram will not run after filesystem is loaded to RAM DRIVE ?
If I run sudo live-toram it corrupts things: Network Places stops working.

All Kinds of options to run Q4OS,
What about Net Boot and this could draw a large group of users who have older computers. As well as boot PXE compatible NICs installed.
Most new better quality routers now have a usb connection for a Net Storage Drive.
Has Q4OS Team considered (or is it easily possible?) to load Q4OS (would have to be both 686 & x64) to a network share and run computers as Q4OS clients ?
Where the filesystem remains on the NAS and clients only have the boot files on them ? A lot of other Linxu flavors do this.
Much older computers could be used in this manner with 512 MB and a swapfiile on a hard drive or thumb drive.
I would love to support this kind of arrangement.
