Video reverting to default after reboot on Orion and scorpion

The video will not hold the setting when rebooted.
Asus Rampage 3 Genie and video GT-450
Tryed reloaded both Os's (64bit) no change.
Deepin 64 works OK and ubuntu works ok
Any help appreciated . I really like this os especially with the win xp addon.
The sound also dont work thro' the hdmi but thats for another story.

Control Panel -> Peripherals -> Display -> check 'Apply settings on TDE startup ..' checkbox . You could configure tderandrtray application too.
