I am having issues getting a screen grab while an application menu is showing, Is there a way to get printscreen to work while an application menu is showing?
I don't know if maybe the control keys are either disabled or diverted when a menu has focus or something like that? Any suggestions that don't involve installing another application for grabbing the screen would be great. ![]()

We will try to investigate the reason of this issue. At the moment, we can only recommend to install the 'ksnapshot-trinity' package, it's very lightweight and powerful and you can set a delay before screen grab, however we know, you don't prefer such solution.

I would prefer a solution that doesn't use another package but for now I will use 'ksnapshot-trinity' as a workaround, Thank you. ![]()

You mean, like this (the attached image)? I did this just by pressing PrintScreen. Seems to work on my netbook.
Now, when I pressed the print screen key, the SeaMonkey menu closed, but not before print-screen captured the image.
Not sure if this helps or not.

You have highlighted something to me that might be significant, I just tested this with the browser (Firefox) and it does the same as yours and manages to grab the picture before the menu disappears, I will have to look at how my app takes focus because when it is showing a menu printscreen does nothing... Thanks for the info though, it points more to something I can put right and hopefully save the dev's having to dig too deep. Thank you. ![]()
