Can`t set Chromium as default browser.

I use Chromium 49.0.2623.108 on Q4OS 1.4.8-n1 (64-bit).
When I click on button, which makes Chromium a default browser, nothing happens. It is not being set as default browser, and I still receive a message like shown in attachment. Clicking on [Make as default browser] on that message also does nothing.

Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502   If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.

Part of the problem here is what I experience with using the command-line sensible-browser, there are too many places that set default and you have to work out which one has the highest priority and change that.
