Compaq NC6120

I am trying to install Q4os Aquarius 32bit onto a Compaq NC6120, I am booting it from a flash drive due to the hard drive I have installed having no OS, when booting it runs fine from what I see but I continue to have trouble when it asks me to partition.

Is there any tips I can use to fix this?

The hard drive is 40GB, running 1 GB of RAM

Re: Compaq NC6120

Partitioning is mandatory (as well as formatting). You can't skip this step.
I may be wrong, but I believe there is an option to let the installer partition the disk automatically. Then you'll probably get a warning that the whole disk will be erased. Since your disk has no OS, and if it contains no data you want to keep (backups, photos... -- double check: there will be no way to restore them after partitioning), that's not a problem.
