Hello,
I'm using q4os-6.4-x64 and I installed Thunderbird from the release channel.
It works well, but I'd like Thunderbird to update automatically with each new release.
Although it's checked in the settings, I have to do it manually by installing the new release.
How can I do this? Thank you.
Sincerely,
Merci
Cordialement,

I've not found where there is a setting to upgrade Thunderbird automatically. Probably I didn't search well.
Or maybe that's because I'm using Thunderbird installed from Q4OS Software Centre. It is presently version 140.7.1esr. It is updated automatically and is the latest version available from Debian repositories (except for the experimental version, which is 144).
If you can live with the esr version, which receives automatic updates (via Update Manager from Q4OS Software Centre too), but is some releases behind the most recent non-esr one, then install it from the Software Centre.
Honestly, I didn't dig into the details of the release notes to see if there is a practical advantage of the latest release over the esr version, so I cant' advice you on this point.

Yes, we strongly recommend installing Thunderbird from the Q4OS Software Centre. Thunderbird will then be upgraded automatically along with the system updates.
