Hello. I've just downloaded Q4OS, it's nice. I do have one little issue. Ok so i opted for the trinity desktop environment whic is nice but when i right click on the desktop to change the screen size it only changes for that session. When i reboot it keeps reverting to the original settings. So lets say default is 1920x1080, when i change it to 1024x768 it always goes back to the initial size.

At first you shouldn't change native display resolution, it's not quite a clean action. If you want to increase fonts, icons and elements size you should apply screen scaling instead:
Control panel > system administration > screen scaling
If you want to change display resolution for some curious reason, run in terminal:
$ tderandrtray
an icon in system tray appears, right click and change resolution.

Ok i tried what you said. the problem is that the screen size is too large for my monitor. The taskbar is out of range. I tried modding the grub menu to set the size to 1024x768. The font size on the boot is laarge but the second i login the size reverts to 1920x1080. I should point out I'm using a hdmi cable not a vga.

1920x1080 seems to be the native resolution of your monitor, we recommend you not to change it. Use screen scaling instead.
