I have tried all 4 flavors of Q4OS. The one I chose was Free10 because it looks so much like Windows. This is Q4OS 5.7 Plasma. I was trying to install Plex Desktop Player. I installed Snap and seem to have a menu entry to Run Snap. I click but nothing happens.
So I try again. I go to the snap store for Linux. I use search to find Plex and find 2 items. Both have a green install button, but both show you command lines to install. I wanted the Ap Plex For Linux and is is available from FlatHub and from Snap. I use the command:
$ sudo snap install plex-desktop
All ok, and it is installed. How can I run it? I find no menu entry and no program found. If I run the command again, I am told it is already installed. Thanks for any help offered.

OK, an update. I wanted to find the Snap Store, so I searched for "Store". Instead of Snap, I found "App Center". When running it, I searched (and found) "Plex-Desktop". Since it is installed, I am given the option to "Open". <<IT OPENS>> I now drag the icon to the desktop and can also pin to the start menu. Where did "App Center" come from? Is it from Q4OS or from Free10? It works, so I am not complaining. I am trying to understand better.

Where did "App Center" come from?
Snap store is an external application store supported by Canonical https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snap_(software)#

Thank you. "The App Center is a rebranded Snap Store GUI, but along with the rebranding have come along some fundamental changes to the App Store's back end." I continue to learn. I now have Plex Desktop Player installed and working on Free10 (Q4OS) and that was what I was attempting.
