Looking for a backup imaging program

I recall there's a backup imaging program called time stamp or something like that. Anyone know the name?

Re: Looking for a backup imaging program

You mean Timeshift I believe, a popular backup imaging app.

@jacatone
Keep in mind that Timeshift main purpose is to take / restore snapshots of the system (roughly equivalent of MS Windows "Restore Points").
Other tools are better suited for backing up users' personal data.  One such a tool is included in "System Settings", at least for Q4OS 4 / Plasma. There are many others (see e.g. https://www.tecmint.com/linux-system-backup-tools/).

Re: Looking for a backup imaging program

I agree with @hchiper, Timehift is the equivalent of that other OS's System Restore. If you want to take a full image then I recommend Rescuezilla:

If you want to get a full image we would rather recommend S4-snapshot https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4510
