Re: Gimp theme

You could try to reset Gimp configuration. Just remove folders:
$HOME/.config/GIMP
$HOME/.configtde/GIMP
$HOME/.configkde/GIMP
We recommend you to backup folders before removing.

Re: Gimp theme

Q4OS Plasma or Q4OS Trinity???
Make sure you are using one of the standard Q4OS4 themes.
Once it has crashed will it then run if you try to start it from the menu?
If you open Konsole and just type gimp does it run?
If not what are the error messages it produces?

Re: Gimp theme

Maybe try completely removing Gimp and its associated folders and reinstalling.  I know that Gimp over the years has had this issue a lot and its been reported going back  as far as 2016 when I did some research. Whats also interesting is, with so many reports of the problem that actually exist, there are also just as many that have had no issues at all.  Ive changed Gimp themes at will with the Plasma version and had no issues at all.
