taskbar + Icons

hello all ,

Can we center the icons in the taskbar, if this is feasible, I would be interested in your advice and explanations and in this case I would use Q4OS for my main computer as use all days .

I'm speaking of Q4OS 4 (oldstable version).

With Plasma and the default theme, you can center the taskbar (horizontally) if it is narrower (after having been resized) than the screen, but to my knowledge you cannot center the icons in it.

I have no experience of other themes or other desktop environments; maybe one of these can fulfill your requirement.

But this seems to me to be a weak criterion to determine the choice of an OS; you could have considered the advantages of Q4OS like its reliability, its low resource consumption, the quality of the support, to name a few, not to mention the possibility to install other desktop environments (LXQT, XFCE, LXDE, Mate, Budgie, Cinnamon, Gnome, Trinity).

Thanks for your reply. Having the icons centered on the taskbar is very practical for me as I have a large 85 cm curved screen. And having everything centered is very practical for me.

I understand your reason.
If you resize the taskbar to about 1/3 of the screen width (possible if you use Plasma, which is the default desktop with Q4OS), then even if the icons are not really centered, they will at least be "near the center", which you might find convenient enough.

I know it , lmde is Cinnamon , I want juste share you if it's possible to have the icons on KDE as i Show on my screnn ?
