NVIDIA GeForce 7000M TurboCache graphics card

Does anyone have any experience with NVIDIA driver installation?
It used to work with an old version of Mint Linux but in the latest version of Mint, the driver is broken.
I am thinking of trying Q4OS.

Any helpful advice and instructions before I give it a try would be appreciated.

Also is there a way to create a boot device that would allow me to TRY before I do a full install & wipe my hard drive.
Thanks.

You could have a look at https://www.q4os.org/dqa018.html in Q4OS Documents section.
