Hi, how are you? I have a question. I have a Lenovo IdeaPad 330s Intel i5 8th gen 12GB RAM. With Q4OS installed two years ago. The Gemini version. Very happy. But a couple of days ago with an update, I noticed that the cooler or fan does not stop working. I have installed temperature monitors, and I have an average of 45 degrees in the processors and 36 in the SSD. The problem is that it drains the battery, this did not happen a few days ago. Could you tell me if it is a problem with the driver that was updated or something? The truth is that I use this OS because it is super comfortable for me but I do not know much about Linux other than as a basic user. Please help.
Sorry for my English. It's not my native language.

You can try to boot the previous kernel before an update and see if it works better. Just select advanced options in the Grub boot table, load an older kernel and see what happens. Nonetheless, we wouldn't suspect update, rather cooler might get dusty.
