Compatibility

Good afternoon, dear users. I recently found a rather old laptop
characteristics
2gb ram
CPU:intel atom n2600 (2 cores 4 flow)
HurdDisk(320GB)
has 32bit  uffi but Cpu 64 bit(but you can only install 32 bit OS there)
Does anyone have experience installing on similar equipment, and is it possible to install Q4OS Trinity on such equipment?

Re: Compatibility

Yes, we recommend you to install Q4OS Trinity. You should try to install from Q4OS live media first and if it fails, use the Q4OS install-cd media, it will likely succeed. In anyway, you are welcome to report a result here.

Re: Compatibility

I confirm. Q4OS 32 bit installed without problems .Works very quickly. Consumes RAM less than 350MB

Re: Compatibility

Thanks for the report. In anyway, if you have 64bit CPU, you can try to install Q4OS 64bit from the install-cd. It should handle 32bit BIOS and install true 64bit Q4OS system to make use the full CPU performance.

Did you also try to boot 64bit live media ?
