Good to know!
Just double-checking.

Any chance on there being a release date for the next edition of Q4OS? The last release was in November 2023.
It's now July 2024. I'd like to see about possibly using Q4OS, but I need a newer kernel for it to work on my hardware.
Thanks.

3.6 - Installing newer kernel from Debian Backports
Should do the trick.
You can also use the Liquorix kernel - https://liquorix.net/ that'll make a difference!!!

Apologies. I was only going by what I saw on the website before posting. Thanks, though.
Incidentally, I just saw your announcement that Q4OS 5.5 is actually out, so that's great.
I'm downloading the ISO as I type this. Hope it works well on my PC hardware. We'll see ...

Update:
Tried the live image of Q4OS. Unfortunately, the 6.1 kernel does not work with my USB WiFi adapter.
On Linux Mint "Edge" edition (Cinnamon), the 6.5 kernel works flawlessly with it. No problems. Fast.
I do have another WiFi adapter (Panda Wireless) that should work with Q4OS. I'll find time to test it later.
Was kinda hoping this release would work "out-of-the-box" with my PC hardware, though. That'd help a lot.

Thanks for helping. Very interesting, too, about the Liquorix kernel. Never heard of it. Huh. How about that?
P.S.: Had to delete the links in the quote above. The forum wouldn't allow me to post links. (How very odd ... )

I think it is worth it question mark?

The Liquorix kernel works well as I originally tried it with MX Linux thru the MX package installer. I believe once you reach a minimum post total youll be able to post links Omnimaxus. What wifi adapter are you using that had the issue with the 6.1 kernel?
