A bit strange question

Actually, I just tested it  and I do not understand

Why in the process manager writes that he supposedly ate 7 GB of me (I just opened the torrent)
and in neofetch and  free -m shows another that the system is loaded at 1 GB .Even when I close the browser, my manager still shows that it is eating 7 GB .

the thing is that in the process manager it shows as if I went to swap ,a free m
shows the opposite .That's why I panicked
