Q4OS 5.3 Aquarius no installation of programs from the software center

I have now tried several times to install programs such as firefox, google chrome, updatemanager, mutimedia codes, etc. from the software center. it is not working at the moment

the installation starts, then the screen flashes a few times and I end up on the login screen.

Or I get an error message. hope I can reproduce it

this appears if you have only loaded the Q4OS Pure profile

I currently have the desktop profile loaded. I could only install Google chrome in the console / terminal

I installed from the USB Stick. exFAT YUMI like ventoy with q4os-aquarius-5.3-x64.r1 - boot in normal mode - hanging at finished the installation. Boot in Grub2 mode - no hanging at finish

I currently have the desktop FULL profil loaded.

Well, reboot your computer and run some more commands:
$ cd /tmp/
$ wget q4os.org/downloads_app5/setup_q4os-updater_4.1.1-a1_all.esh
$ sudo qsinst /tmp/setup_q4os-updater_4.1.1-a1_all.esh
and post the output.

another info: I have a dual boot system with win7 and 11 on it too. After the installation the file system of the HDD is broken - I have to repair it again and again with the system startup repair with a win7 DVD, because otherwise the PC does not start.

Ok, at least the package system has been fixed. We have no idea why installers fail, If you would generate and provide the qreport.tar.gz file once again it may help.

I have now reinstalled twice. Once I reinstalled the partitions with SWAP - then the file system got corrupted again. After the repair I saw that I had 5 primary partitions under MBR ??. Then I realized why the file system was broken for the time being, because 5 primary partitions were not supposed to work. But then it did.

Then I extended windows and let the KDE partition program set up the partition on the side. No file system was broken (only 4 primary partitions), but the GUI installation still didn't work. New install after win7 then ran a CHKDSK, so the KDE partition program doesn't work properly.

Now I am installing Q4OS 5.3 Trinity. Let's see what comes out of it
