Dear all
Is there a way to install q4os with kernel 6.2,simple because it brings embedded support for my wifi adapter, instead of having to install third party driver.
Thanks.

Please try this solution: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.ph … 320#p24320
It has worked for a topic starter.
The only thing is, instead of
deb http://deb.debian.org/debian bullseye-backports main contrib non-free
line you will have
deb http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm-backports main contrib non-free non-free-firmware
line if you are using Q4OS Aquarius.

Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502 If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.

Thanks gonna try this solution, yes on the topic, I use my smartphone with usb to fetch the dependencies to install third party driver, a brand new kernel after version 6.1, I don't need to do anything since it supports the wifi.

Read about Xanmod and Liqourix kernel, which are up to version 6.4 are they any better than those backported kernels from Debian sources?
Thanks

I can vote for Xanmod. I do not notice any performance differences, but the kernels are bleeding edge and stable.
