I've recently upgraded my wife's Dell Inspiron Mini netbook, installed a 128gb ssd and upgraded the ram from 1gb to 2gb.
After trying many lightweight linux distros, I've finally settled in this OS
so far i'm having problems watching youtube since it's laggy, and i'm trying to install smtube but i can't install it properly.
I'm new to linux by the way.
Thanks for your help!

Hmmm Netbook. I have one (check my signature). It only works well on 32-bit. Is that what you're using?

Just below the title "Ubuntu", there is another title , "Packages for other Linux distros" where a link points to appropriate commands for Debian 8, 9, 10, 11, among others. I think it is a choice better than Ubuntu, except if you have a reason to choose Ubuntu instead of Debian (Q4OS is based on Debian).

When you got to the window where you choose which level, the smallest is definitely a no no for a newcomer. I chose basic as it has most of the underlying software. The top one has everything - maybe too much for a limited user. What did you choose?

Issue Update:
After some discussions with my wife, she asked me to restore her netbook to its original OS (Windows 7 32bit)
I've just inform her that Microsoft would not support it anymore.
Anyways, thanks for your help guys!
(IMO, the TDE version of Q40s 32 bit is by large more snappier than win 7 os, I've tried to download the exe file for my old Dell Inspiron 5567 laptop, I like it!)

@namron
You could also give a try Quarkos Trinity or Plasma edition, what is Ubuntu based operating system with Q4OS tools and amenities https://quark-os.sourceforge.io/
