ASUS ZenBook Flip UX363JA

I did the following:
a. Turned Secure boot OFF
b. Set the laptop to use AHCI

I log into Windows 10, and run the Windows installer (Gemini) as Administrator.
It runs fine, but when I reboot and select Q4OS, it comes up with a blank (dark) screen, with only a single "-" on the top left. The screen remains frozen forever.

Any suggestions?

An update:
I plugged in a usb stick with q4os-4.7-x64.r1.iso, and Q4OS came up just fine. At this point, am not sure why the Windows installer version gets stuck on a blank screen after a re-boot into Q4OS.
