Hi,
I just installed q4os (Trinity 64 bit) and after the computer restarted and I chose the os from the boot menu, the screen went black and then 'no signal' appeared.
I have this problem with at least half the Linux distros I've tried actually, but the only difference is this usually happens 'before' installation, and not after. Usually the grub menu appears from the usb drive, and when I try and progress my monitor goes black.
I'm guessing many of these distros don't have the right drivers for my system's hardware?
Here are my specs:
Motherboard: Asrock B560 Steel Legend
CPU: Intel i3 - 10100
16 gb ddr4 ram
500gb nvme drive
Lenovo 24 inch 1440 monitor

This might not be related to your issue but I get the same with one setup using a LG 21" monitor. After the 'no signal' message appears I click the monitor 'source' button and can start to a desktop from there.
