Directories and other TDE stuff in Plasma, are they necessary?

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a nice life! smile

I noticed there are some directories and other TDE related stuff sitting around in Q4OS Plasma, like /opt/trinity, ~/.configtde, /var/tmp/tdecache, and I wonder whether those are necessary, and if they're not, it is safe to remove them and disable whatever might be using them? Thanks in advance for your replies.

Re: Directories and other TDE stuff in Plasma, are they necessary?

The basic Q4OS Plasma holds a minimal set of Trinity libraries for Q4OS tools like Software Centre, etc.. to work. Don't remove any TDE related files, they are really needed. We plan to port TDE dependent tools to QT5/6 libraries in the future, in order to get rid of Trinity libraries from Plasma only systems.

Ok, got it. Thanks for the clarification.
