Installation problem

I tried to install the os on my old laptop, but it kept getting stuck on running command /usr/sbin/debian_adjust.sh i already waited for almost an hour, is this normal or is there something wrong?

Yes, this process can take a long time on old machines.

okay, i waited for an hour and it returns an error like this : Command /usr/sbin/debian_adjust.sh failed to finish in 600 seconds. Output: Running hook 2. .....

any solution for this

The timeout has exceeded for some reason. Would you attach installation log files "/tmp/q4hook*" here to the forum please ?
