My taskbar and everything that belongs on it, was at the bottom of the window. The idea was to install Plank and drag all the stuff on the bar to the top of the screen, and hopefully hide unless I mouse over it. Then everything came apart on me. Items broke up into their own sections and bars and got scattered around. The more I touched it; the bigger the mess got. So I need to find a way to fix all this. This is Q4OS with KDE Plasma. I just installed it a couple of days ago and I don't know who to work with it. My experience is limited to Linuxmint.
I'll try to include an image, so you can see what I'm talking about.
I'm not allowed to post links, so I can't show you a screenshot.

Have you tried this solution?

In order to avoid such problems in future, please install Timeshift and make system backup before making any experiments. It will allow you to revert your system to initial state if you broke something.
If you have used Linux Mint, then you probably know, how to use Timeshift.
Latest release: https://github.com/teejee2008/timeshift … g/v20.11.1

Before asking for help please read this topic: https://www.q4os.org/forum/viewtopic.php?id=3502 If you have problems with WiFi network, try to install the Network Manager using Q4OS Software Centre.

Now I'm putting Gemini on a computer for someone else and I'm stuck again with pieces of the task bar all over the screen. I can't get them all aligned to the top. I been at this for two hours now, was hoping to get this done today ..If anyine else has some tips, please share.
