I have installed the "q4os-4.4-x64-testing.r1.iso" on my Asus VivoBook L203MA, Intel(R) Celeron(R) N4000 CPU @ 1.10GHz/1.10 GHz, 4,00 GB Memory.
The installation went smooth, and I have not experienced any problems so far.
To be able to install, I had to disable the Secure Boot. Is this normal for the testing version?

No, it should boot out of the box even on secure boot systems. What error message do you get with secure boot on ? Did you proceed installation with secure boot turn on ?

When trying intall with Secure Boot enabled, I got a bluescreen with following text:
ERROR
Verification failed: (0x1A) Security Violation
OK
When clicking OK, got following text:
Failed to load image: Security Policy Violation
Failed to open \EFI\BOOT\mmx64.efi - Not Found
Failed to load image \EFI\BOOT\mmx64.efi: Not Found
start_image() returned Not Found
I then disabled Secure Boot before install.

Please boot the live media with secure boot on and run in terminal:
$ q4hw-info --secure-boot
$ bootctl status
$ sudo bootctl status
and paste the output here,

I tried to boot the live media with secure boot enabled, but not possible.
Just got a red warning window with following text:
Secure Boot Violation
Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup.
OK
When clicking OK, I just end up with the blue screen and text mentioned earlier.

Does your system boot the original Debian Buster live media with secure boot enabled ? https://cdimage.debian.org/debian-cd/cu … so-hybrid/
And Q4OS Centaurus live media ? https://www.q4os.org/downloads1.html

We are not able to reproduce the OP issue, Q4OS 4.4 Gemini boots fine on secure boot enabled machines. Did anyone else notice this issue ?

Some further information.
I downloaded Debian Linux 11.0 Bullseye Testing dated 2021-04-12 (weekly build installation image). Secure Boot was active, and installed without problems. Tried several of the desktop environments, including the KDE Plasma and all worked fine.
Then I again downloaded the "q4os-4.4-x64-testing.r1.iso" and verified it with the md5sum, which was found in order. When trying to install it with Secure Boot enabled (as with the Debian Linux 11.0 Bullseye Testing), it was still impossible and I received the same warnings as initially posted.

Where did you the image download from, the exact link ?

Would you test booting and installing this one please ?
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/week … 64-kde.iso
or another one from that repository:

I could boot from both with Secure Boot enabled. (On the 2nd one I used the XFCE desktop).
However, when I had entered the Network Setup details, the installation halted on both, and I didn't come any further.
To be able to find my Network, I first had to install "firmware-iwlwifi_20210315-2_all" from another usb-pin (from Debian web-site).
When this was done,another request popped up: "iwl-debug-yoyo.bin". I entered NO to install this, as I have so far not been able to find it.
This worked fine on the installers for Weekly-Builds I installed earlier, but not for the two latest you sent above to try.

Well, well believe, we are on the right path to fix the Q4OS live media for most of secure boot systems. Did you success in installing Debian from the live Plasma environment, from the desktop icon, when you booted the live KDE media ? If yes, does the installed system boot on your secure boot enabled machine ?
Thanks for valuable testing and helping us to improve Q4OS.

By doing it this way, I am not able to locate any Networks to connect to, as there are none. I think this is because I have not been able to install the "firmware-iwlwifi_20210315-2_all" in this sequence.

I have now installed "q4os-4.4-x64-testing.r2.iso". It booted with Secure Boot enabled and installed without any problems. I'm now using the Testing version and will report if any issues should be experienced. Thanks a lot for your good work.
