Akregator-Q4 testing2 image for Pinebook Pro

I mentioned in an earlier post that Akregator (Trinity) does not work on the Testing2 image for Pinebook Pro. I have been working with this a bit and I beleive that the fault is neither with Trinity nor Q4, but with the Armbian base.

I have found that Akregator does not work with the KDE desktop installed on Armbian Buster nor in Kubuntu installed on Armbian Bionic. I have two guesses as to what might be wrong. One is that the user is not granted permission to access whatever backend database is used by Akregator, or that Armbian is missing some piece on the backend necessary for Akregator to work.
