Question about partitioning and small bug.

Good day!
I am not a partitioning expert, sorry about that. I have read that it is better not to use only primary partitions, because it will be difficult or impossible to install second operating system or define another partition if you already have four allocated primary partitions. So I decided to make another partitioning scheme with extended and logical partitions.
Please check my new scheme. Can I use it for installing Q4OS?



Also how much disk space should I define for /(root) partition without /home inside it?

Finally I have found small bug, maybe it is already known, but mounted CD icon is not defined.

Yes, it's very good layout.

10GB should be enough to run full Q4OS Desktop profile, however it depends on additional applications you want to install.

Yes, it's know known bug, will be fixed in some of the next releases. Thank you for reporting.

@Rademes, I have 250GB hdd in my laptop with 14 partitions in total and the ones I use for testing distros are usually 10Gb. I have found this to be the minimum required for a usable system. I have 30Gb for my main working distribution though as I need more space for VirtualBox testing. HTH
