Q4OS 2.6 Scorpion installation media has been updated, revision ".r3". A few changes has been made:
- Tuned bootloader installation for different systems: legacy bios, efi, efi with secure boot - don't install signed packages for non secure boot systems.
- Fixed glitch with no boot flag for "msdos" as well as "gpt" type partitions.
- Initial first boot experience improved.
- Automatic security updates enabled for fresh installations.
- Google Chrome browser, the most recent 70 version.
- Other fixes and security updates.

Was wondering where Synaptic was?
Go to Discover and it shows that it is installed but it fails show up in the list of installed apps via menu call.

We can confirm, there was a glitch in KDE Plasma, Synaptic didn't show up in the start menu. It is now fixed, you only need to update the system:
$ sudo apt update
$ sudo apt dist-upgrade
