My new update notifier (and installer) DP3U
I have re-created my update notifier/installer and it should work the same as the previous one, I have given it a new name as it has been written specifically for Centaurus and uses Python3. It is called dp3u (Dai's Python 3 Updater) and any feedback on installation and use would be great.
This is the first release version and has worked without issue in my preliminary tests. Simply download and double-click the installer for a quick and painless installation.
EDIT:
From version 1.0.0-10 this will now work in Scorpion as well as Centaurus
EDIT: This has now been deprecated (or abandoned) so no further updates will be offered.

Added the option to disable unattended upgrades (if enabled) and also allowed installation for Scorpion users in version 1.0.0-10
