SMTP Servers

Greetings everyone

Having the usual dont-be-evil-gmail smtp blocked email issues - anybody with real experience of any good free
alternative global smtp servers - we only do bulk email say once/twice per month, and gmail has simply been
getting worse & worse over time, much like MSFT ... please no windows/google/gmail answers

Regards

Jack

Re: SMTP Servers

None that I'm aware of that are free, but have you talked to your ISP?  Some ISP's will allow you to use their smtp with business plans, and some if you have a business plan will allow you to run your own smtp server over their connection...

MailChimp

Low usage has a free service.

If you have 2,000 or fewer subscribers, you can send up to 12,000 emails per month absolutely free. No expiring trial, contract, or credit card required.

Re: SMTP Servers

Hi Bin

Many thanks for your continued efforts to think outside the box - always a pleasant surprise from the usual  google guesswork,
much appreciated - have joined MailChimp, will report back soonest - hoping its not the  'trust-us-mail-merge' business model
One of our main competitors mailed me his entire PB of 1,800 email addresses one day .... a mail-merge that went horribly wrong.

I have also done some more work on the gmail SMTP issues - played them at their own algorithm game - early results look very
promising, will update you soonest - again, many thanks for your efforts - much appreciated - take care

Regards

Jack
