Hello all

with Q4os bêta (3), with classic Menu, sort by categories, i don't have "config center" in menu.

Yes, this is true it has been omitted from the classic category structure, I would imagine that the devs can easily fix this but for the time being you can create a desktop link (or a .desktop file) and use this as the command. Or you can of course just put this command into the "Run Command" dialog box accessed from right clicking the desktop.

konqueror --profile "ctrl_panel" --icon "kcontrol" --caption "%c" settings:/

Yes, this should be and will be fixed. You could run the control panel as posted above, or more easily:
$ kcontrol
You can also run it using right click on "My Computer" desktop icon -> Control panel

There's always an easier way to do things than I see.
