Q4OS and Debian repositories

It's a shame to tell, but while using Linux Mint, I forgot how to set up Debian repositories. I need to set up Swedish primary mirror.
Please, somebody check attached screenshot, and tell me, did I set up repositories correctly?

Re: Q4OS and Debian repositories

Sorry, I don't use a GUI for sources so wasn't sure if they are entered correctly or not... Have you tried them? and are there any errors?

Re: Q4OS and Debian repositories

Based on the Debian sources web site it appears to be correct for Sweden.

The only one which may be suspect is the Debian Security URL

I'm not sure that you need the /debian-security/ part of the URL - I think the fact it is pointing to security.debian.org is sufficient.

However, if you run sudo apt-get update in terminal it should baulk at any repos it doesn't like.

My apologies, I am still stuck on Orion so do not have a direct Stretch comparison.

Re: Q4OS and Debian repositories

You could use the Debian utility to find the closest (fastest, etc) repos called netselect-apt.
For example I'll type

$ sudo netselect-apt -c FRANCE stretch

to get the closest repos for Debian Stretch.
Note I would wait for a Q4OS team member to confirm that before using it on a production system (I'm the casual Debian user type).

Source: unix.stackexchange.com/questions/338723/setup-debian-mirrors-after-installation (I can't post links yet)

No shame to question IMHO.

Yes, we can confirm, the 'netselect-apt' tool will choose the fastest Debian mirror reliably.
